Other Program Information
- All Academy students are required to take, pass, and complete the exam for 8 AP classes prior to graduation
- All Academy members must take two consecutive years of Latin (I/II) prior to the end of their Junior year
- All Academy members must maintain at least a 3.0 unweighted and 3.25 weighted GPA to remain eligible
- All Academy members must refrain from receiving disciplinary actions:
- Level I/II infractions will be monitored (repeated offenses will go before the SA Review Board)
- Level III will go before the SA Review Board
- Level IV will be automatic expulsion from the Academy
- All Academy members must take SA Elective Class in their 9th grade year (exception: 10th grade additions)
- All Academy members must take SA English Cohort in 9th and 10th grade
- All Academy members must take at least one AP Science class prior to graduation
- All Academy members will be involved in the AP Capstone two-year program (Seminar and Research)
- All Academy members will attend the administration of the PSAT in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade
- Academy members may substitute in-class required classes with on-line classes to maintain eligibility
- It is strongly encouraged that all academy members take AP elective classes in 10th and 11th grade
